I had never met these two but after a few emails back and forth and spending a few days in the Dominican Republic together we quickly became friends. Like many love stories, Julia and Gary met at a bar. As Julia refers to it, they met "the old fashioned way."
They chose to get married in the DR, and the day couldn't have been more beautiful. Julia looked like an Egyptian goddess in her dress and I don't think I saw Gary without a huge smile on his face the entire time.
My favorite part was after the first dance. Gary called up his mother and stepfather (who had just gotten married prior to this wedding after being together for 33 years) and had them have their first dance. There were so many beautiful moments throughout the day and I feel so honored to have been a part of the celebration. Here are just a few of the highlights below!
