A few weeks ago I went up to Manchester, NH to photograph the Jandee Lee Porter Band. Jandee, the lead singer, has been writing music and singing for the band for the past 15 years. She was discovered by three of the other band members: Mike Groove, Mark Sciascia and Reid Johnson. Mike produces while Mark plays on the electric guitar and Reid on bass. Other members include Rick Leavitt, on drums, and Jim Eibner, on the pedal steel. The band has already released two CDs and is working on releasing their third, One Hot Mess, this fall. Working with the band this weekend felt like being with family. They were all so easy-going and sweet. We all wandered around town on Saturday and then headed down to the river by UNH for the final shots. Check out some of the highlights below...
